Am I bothered??

So I missed the last two days of blogging. Honestly, I think I'm over the whole blogging everyday thing. Scratch that, I *know* I am. Still, there are a few things I never got around to writing about, so you have that to look forward to!

I'm kind of hating that we are all back to school/work tomorrow. I tell myself that I need just one more day, but I know if I had it I'd wish for just one more day after that, so there's no use in complaining. I'll just look forward to Christmas Break (only three more weeks!).

If I'm perfectly honest, I have to admit that the next few weeks are my favorite time to be a preschool teacher. I have a lot of fun activities planned. One of the benefits of teaching at a Christian preschool is that no one has a problem keeping 'Christ' in Christmas. I'm going to bring in my Little Tikes Nativity for the kids to play with, and I found a really cute little Baby Jesus in a Manger craft that we're going to do.

Thanksgiving was great. I'm always appreciative that Eileen and David (and Mom and Dad) put up with all of us decending upon their house. ;) The food was fabulous, although my corn casserole was decidely NOT (so disappointing!), and James had a good 35th birthday, even though he is now officially out of the target demographic for almost everything.

The highlight of the day was discovering one of Jed's snakes had gone missing. In the room where we were sleeping. Good thing I'm not afraid of snakes. :P Here's a picture of the girls holding the *other* snake.

Happy Birthday James!!!

I would've freaked out with the "missing" snake :(

I'm glad you all had a great Thanksgiving!

We did have a fab time and we all think the corn casserole was pretty good considering. Thanks again for all James and the girls help. Can't wait till Christmas!

Good to hear you had a good Thanksgiving. Have fun with your crafts. Do you get your ideas from specific sites? If you do, would you mind sharing the love of good preschool crafts?

MADELINE GOT HER BRACES OFF?!?!?!
She looks so beautiful!
When did she get them off? I totally missed it!
Trying to sleep in the room with the missing snake would really creep me out! I would feel every little movement.

Mom- The corn casserole was just gross. Don't try and spare my feelings, Mom. I can take it.

Shanua- I'll put together an idea list and shoot it your way!

Beckie- She only has the top ones off right now (got them off in October). The bottom ones come off later in the month. I really, really hope that they made enough room for her permanent teeth to grow in nice and straight!

And luckily we discovered the missing snake *after* we had slept in the room. Ignorance is bliss, right? :P

All I can say is yikes. I do not do snakes, not even little ones. Your girls are awesome to be sitting there so calmly holding them!

The other snake met a cruel fate. While trying to climb from the cage where someone had left the top slightly open, it got hung up by it's neck and choked before anyone found it. Even Eileen who is not fond of snakes was slightly traumitized.

That is the most depressing thing I have read today, Mom.
