I regret to inform you, the viewing public, that the quality and quantity of info coming out of the Tree Fort is about to go seriously downhill.
Last Sunday our Primary Presidency was reorganized, and yours truly is now the Primary Secretary. *shakes head* What were they thinking? Unlike Melissa and Emily (new first and second counselors, respectively) the new President doesn't keep up with my blog and is therefore unaware of blog posts like this and this. And, oh yeah, who could forget this? Surely had she seen any of that she would have realized I have a subversive side and therefore am unsuitable to do anything more spiritual than teach the Sunbeams! And here I was, SO SURE, that the 'Vote Obama' bumper sticker that was on the back of my van would be my ticket to no more big(ish) church callings!
*sigh*
But never fear! I do have a few posts in mind (complete with pictures!), including one where I become Ranty McRanty-Pants and rail against the commercialization of Valentine's Day. YAY!
In other news, James just finished his first week in his new job, and he's already laying plans to take over the joint in 3-5 years. Awww...I love a man with ambitions!

I am so sorry, but I was unaware that Sir James had a new job. Did I miss that blog???
You are so awesome, you will be great. I would have loved working with you in a calling! May I suggest www.sugardoodle.net and
http://theideadoor.com/Primary.html
Aunt Carol- He got a promotion to Leaderman, which is a supervisor position. I wrote about it in my Haiku post.
Shauna- I LOVE Sugerdoodle! My mom told me about it when I started teaching Sunbeams. I guess we never did work together, did we?? What a shame!
I just got called as one of the counselors in the Primary presidency. Honestly, what is this world coming to??? We had our first quarterly activity yesterday and whew, that was wild!!!! Primary is so much fun though. You already love the sunbeams, now you'll get to know and love ALL of the primary kids. How big is your primary?
I told YOU A WEBSITE you LOVE. Let me mark this day on my calendar. I also love theideadoor.com I haven't used it for primary much but use it for RS.
Mom- Haha. Very funny. I like the Idea Door too, but not so much for Primary. I used it all the time when I was in YW.
Katheryn- I do love Primary. This is my second go-round in a Primary Presidency. On a good Sunday we have between 35-30 kids. We've been going through a lean period the past year, but the numbers are starting to grow again.
Next year we'll have SEVEN new sunbeams! And if you think I'm not happy to have dodged that bullet then you my friend are totally wrong. ;) (For the record, I had eight last year! I started with three this year, but we're aleady up to five now! Two have moved in since January. Crazy!)
Doesn't having a subversive side just mean you are well-rounded and ready to teach the children?? :)
BTW-- the "vote Obama" sticker just makes you more interesting :)
